Our journey with CIYOTA began in the Spring of 2019 where we were introduced through mutual acquaintances. We learned of CIYOTA’s mission to train one million youth in entrepreneurship and peacekeeping in DR Congo. Their mission is hefty, but they inspire us to constantly strive to do more.

The UW/A team became acquainted with MCDO in the summer of 2019 during a visit to the southwest region of Uganda. As a local community-based organization, MCDO has implemented multiple projects in support of families living near Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

The CineLab Akademie team is one of the most gracious and welcoming organizations we’ve had the opportunity to work with. They possess true passion for teaching youth in Uganda marketable skills in filmmaking and photography as well as helping them find their confidence in their craft.
